COVID-19
What we are doing to help prevent the spread of Coronavirus…
At Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Associates, P.C., we are following all CDC and OSHA guidelines to provide the safest environment possible for our patients and staff. We continue to follow strict disinfection and sterilization policies for our treatment rooms and instruments. All our offices have now been updated to mitigate viral spread, including the implementation of a HEPA filtration system and a UV-C disinfection system.
All patients, staff and doctors must undergo a mandatory COVID-19 screening questionnaire and have their temperatures taken daily. Our doctors and entire staff are fully vaccinated.
Face masks must be worn by both patients and staff. Patients are instructed to put their masks on prior to entering the office and to wear it throughout their time here. Clear Plexiglass “sneeze guards” have been placed between the front desk staff and patients and their escorts.
We have changed our office check-in protocols to minimize the number of people in waiting rooms and operatories. Registration forms must be completed prior to arrival. We instruct patients to call when they arrive at the building so that we can recommend when it is best to come into the office. Hand sanitizing stations are present within the office for patient use. Patients are instructed to wash their hands and use the available hand sanitizer.
We limit the number of patients that we allow in the office. The waiting room has been arranged to allow for 6-foot distancing. We removed magazines and clutter from the reception area and disinfect the area multiple times throughout the day, including frequent touch areas.
Our doctors and surgical staff use enhanced personal protective equipment for the protection and safety of our doctors, staff, and our patients. At Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Associates, P.C., the health and well-being of our patients and staff is our highest priority. We look forward to serving your oral health needs.
